A little creativity for big issues

Kemet has a way of getting beyond the surface and to the heart of his subject matter. His characters are believable, his stories authentic. Over the course of his career, he has learned how to examine hard issues in a way that results in bringing out the best in us. Whether he's looking at race, violence, love or redemption, Kemet knows just how hard to tug on our heart strings, bring a tear to our eye, a realization to our mind, or a new way of looking at an old issue. Isn’t that exactly what filmmaking is all about?
